Jordi Villanova joined Mercan Capital as Vice President in 2008 in Montreal. Previously, Jordi worked for Grupo Financiero Riva Y Garcia as Head of International Mergers & Acquisitions, specialized in public companies. Before that, he served as a Managing Partner at Granville-Baird Capital Partners, a UK-based investment bank, to co-manage the private equity investments in Spain and to participate in the technology-focused investments in the UK and Germany. He started his career at IBM in New York.

Jordi completed his EPBA at Columbia University Business School and received a MBA from ESADE Business School (Barcelona).
